Deer Lick Group The image of NGC 7331 in Pegasus, with the galaxies NGC 7335 NGC 7336 NGC 7340 NGC7337
These galaxies are prospectively near NGC 7331. In reality are located at a distance about 10 times higher
Across the field you see a faint nebulosity
This nebulosity (shown here in the luminance channel and luminance inverted) is present in our Galaxy. NGC 7331 and other galaxies are therefore seen through this nebulosity
